Clutter is a Dirty Word

by StephBuckwalter on January 14, 2010

I don’t like the word clutter very much. It is a word of judgment. Clutter means someone has found your housekeeping habits annoying or offensive. I don’t believe even Scarlett O’Hara could say the word and make it sound nice with her Southern drawl. I prefer the word stuff. Stuff is neutral.¬†Stuff is everything you own. In my books, I use the word stuff instead of clutter to let you know I haven’t passed judgment. I want you to enjoy your stuff!
